Life has got a WHOLE lot busier with Ty back at school full time. It isn't really school now, it is work. He is what they call a Clerk, which I think in the states they can an intern.... not too sure. Basically, he is on the wards, in charge of patients, but has to report to an attending doctor. He is enjoying it but I can see the bags under his eyes getting bigger and bigger as the weeks go by, as more all nigher are catching up on him. He has his first weekend call this weekend! eeekkk! I am not looking forward to him beginning away all weekend. Asher is slowly adjusting to not having Daddy around, this is always a hard time, as he doesn't get it. He ask is for Ty a lot throughout the day, I explain that daddy wants to be home, but has to go to work a lot these days and is slowly understanding it. Ty tries to be home for bedtime most nights.

More Days of summer....

Lilika is sitting up and crawling around like little monster now. She still super easy and relaxed baby, just happy as long as one of us is in the room with her. Very social that way, she needs someone with her, but doesn't need to be entertained. She is totally into anything and everything Asher is playing with, so crowd control is a huge part of my day now:0)

Not so good to wake up to....

This morning this was my wake up call:

6:11am

Asher: (crying) I have a big juice pee, I have a big juice pee!!
Mommy: (running into hopefully save the mornings sleep) Oh, lets just go potty.
Asher: ok (through sleepy eyes)

We sit on our bedroom potty seat, which has been a huge hit for naps and nighttime potty..... gross to find full of the brown but better then in his bed..

After a few minutes of him sitting there, he cries out

Asher: I can't pee!! I can't pee!!!
Mommy: whats wrong baby, does it hurt or something?
Asher: it is too big!! I can't pee!!

You males have very few things to complain about when it comes to the your anatomy, but this one bothered even me this morning!

His got Hair!

So the other day Asher and I were about to have a scooter ride on the driveway and this is how the conversation went:

mom: Hey buddy do you think you should wear a helmet?
Asher: No, I got my hair

He comes up with lots of reason not to wear the helmet, but that was the best so far.

We went to my old stomping ground this weekend! When I was a child I spent EVERY day I could down at this beach. It has a huge play park, water park, and the best beach on the Island; perfect for sandcastles and skim boarding. Asher and Lilika both totally had fun. Asher mostly, Lilika spent most of her day in the carrier asleep, or on the blanket practicing her moves, rolling, attempting to crawl and eating everything in site. Asher's imagination never ceases to amaze us, as he spent the whole day looking for Mickey mouse and Donald duck on some sort of secret mission he made up.......it was quite a developed story Ty and I just went with it. It was a fun day at the beach!

Lilika is a rolling machine these days! Its is like she learned her skill and now is focusing on mastering it!! She rolls all the time, it is quite frustrating, because I realize the next step is crawling.......and then it is all over. Peaceful baby who stays where I put her, and doesn't need entertained, gone gone gone! welcome toddlerhood.
